One of the OG ,places in the neighborhood, very cozy and always packed, probably the best cheesesteak hero this side of Philadelphia made with actual meet not that steakums BS that other places will give you! I just wish they had some French dip lol, always a very great experience.
This is a small, cozy, well run coffee shop that is often packed with locals who know the staff and menu long before they walk in the door. The menu is small and fairly basic, but everything is very fresh and well made. Great coffee, french fries and sandwiches! The turkey-bacon BLT on rye is a personal favorite, but they also have great corned beef & pastrami as well as the expected ‘egg-pertise’ to be a great place for breakfast! Expect a bit of a wait around breakfast time & lunch on weekends. After dozens of meals here we have never left disappointed!
It's a popular neighborhood diner that serves delicious food with excellent service and reasonable prices. I tried their chicken soup and rice with mushrooms and sausages, and they were flavorful and satisfying. The portion size was quite generous as well. I definitely plan on visiting the place again when I'm in the area.
Very friendly restaurant with excellent food and service! George, the owner, is such a sweetheart—our son loves him! We always order the scrambled eggs with potatoes, peppers, onions, and white toast, plus a pancake for the kid. The coffee is great too! It’s a cozy neighborhood spot, so it does get busy on weekends, but the wait is never too long and always worth it. Highly recommend, and we’ll keep coming back!
I explored some local breakfast spots and stumbled upon a gem that truly deserves attention. The moment I stepped inside, I was hit with a vibrant energy—the place was buzzing! Two enthusiastic women were hustling on the floor while an older gentleman held down the fort behind the counter. With a few folks already waiting for a table, I noticed a lively bar area that added to the atmosphere. Just as it seemed like we’d be waiting, a kind gentleman and his son left, and my plus one and I happily swooped in to claim their seats. Our server wasted no time getting down to business. We ordered up two steaming coffees, a refreshing water, a delicious mushroom and spinach omelette, and crispy home fries, topped off with a fluffy waffle. Each bite was a delightful reminder of just how fresh everything tasted. Would I recommend this spot? Absolutely! If you’re looking to support a small local business with great food and a lively vibe, this is the place to be! Also you must pay with cash they do not accept card or apple pay.
Had the best breakfast here the other day…. Not only was the food incredible, but the service was amazing. Thank you Debbie for making the experience for me and my kids the best! She made sure the kids had their food right away and made the whole experience fun for them and they’re already begging to go back! Can’t wait to go again
